Workshops

Designing beautiful objects is not my only passion, I also love conducting workshops, including the ones about the creation of jewelry using precious metal clay technique. There is a spark of artistic potential within each of us, which is worth discovering and developing. Creating handmade jewelry allows us to embellish ourselves not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. It allows our creativity to flourish, satisfying our need to get in touch with beauty and the Elements. It helps us to develop the ability to transform dreams into hard matter, and gives us the opportunity to get away from busy everyday life and bravely enter the realm of imagination, taking real, handmade treasures on the way back.

I offer several types of workshops:

Author’s group workshops

Workshops lasting one or two days regarding the use of precious metal clay and related techniques. The program includes the basics of working with Art Clay Silver, creating forms based on natural objects, creating silver leaves, various techniques of creating textures, sculpting in the ACS, firing and finishing ready creations (satin finish, polishing, oxidizing, and rainbow oxidizing). Advanced students, or those who attend the two-day workshops might also learn how to create spatial forms, and the techniques of setting stones in the ACS, soldering, enameling and gilding.

Organizing group workshops is possible on the group’s demand (4 people max) and on set dates.

Author’s individual workshops

Workshops for one person, with an individual choice of topics, or based on my program. If you are interested, contact me to set the details. The price depends on the program and expected time. The basic workshop which lasts about three hours, and allows for creating three objects costs 735 PLN (250$), materials included. The workshop program includes the techniques mentioned in group workshop description. Two-day workshop, which includes the advanced techniques mentioned in the group workshop program, costs 1470 PLN (490$). In each type of workshop, the student is the owner of all objects he or she has created, including forms, textures etc.

Creating a particular object under my supervision

This offer is for those who want to make a special gift for themselves, or somebody else in the form of handmade jewelry, but would like to get some help from a more experienced person, who can support and guide them with each step of the project. Contact me for more details.
